Yes they are! It's a full service restaurant and IDs will be checked only for anyone ordering alcohol. There are always kids running around inside
Sorry, no pets allowed.
Sorry no
lots of 2hr street parking around the surrounding street. The lot next to the building is a paid lot.
We had a party of of about 30 there recently. They handled the service fine and we all sat together on a long table. The bills however were not handled well at all. They offered to keep us all to keep a separate bill each but Waitress really struggled at the end to sort it all out and had to wait for 45 minutes before we could leave after she had printed the receipts. I suggest asking for a single bill and just all thro in together if you can.
We went for Oktoberfest and had the single best pretzel we have ever had. By far. This place was a lot of fun with a very wide selection of beers. The service was even good for how crowded it was.
Unique atmosphere, hall style tables, and more beer selections than you could imagine make this a good stop off. Try their pretzels if tour looking for somerhing to munch on as well. Be warned they get busy, so if you're wanting individualized attention...this is.not that restaurant.
Very lively. Great place for food and beer. 4 stars bc they ran out of the food we wanted to order. But staff is great and beer was fantastic.
Such an amazing atmosphere. Some of the best bartenders I've ever had. Loved the pretzels. Great beer at perfect temperature. Wonderful place if you like wide open spaces indoors.
Great beers. Amazing food. Fun atmosphere. Go to place for after work happy hour. Seats fill up quickly, so get there if you're going there.
A year or so ago, I loved this place. This past year, this place has gone down hill. I keep coming back, hoping for the experience I used to get. Service is always bad and takes a good 15 minutes to be noticed. Food is poor and overpriced. The only entree option for vegetarians is a veggie burger that is + $4 added on top of a normal $15 burger. Everything is overpriced for what you get. I recommend spending money at one Queen Anne's many other options. Not gonna give this place another chance. Consistent disappoint.
Great spot for food and drinks! Exceptional beer menu with a variety of options. There are a few different food options, including a meat items freshly grilled (cash only for grill).
Unique venue and good food. Focus is more on drink but their food is worth the visit. Make sure to ask for the food menu or order off their specialty menu.
Great food and drink in a lovely, casual atmosphere; good space for groups... but! we happened to catch them on a wildly understaffed day. Mixed up and forgotten orders, absurdly long wait for food (some of which just never came). I'd caution folks to make sure they aren't on a timeline and bring snacks for hungry kiddos, just in case this happens again.
Great place to just hang out, plenty of space to relax, talk, work even. Happy hour all day Monday. Try the beer battered cheese curds, amazing.
Great place to meet a few people or a huge group of friends! Great selection of beers, tasty food, excellent staff
No chicken wings!! Food was limited. The bartender was super helpful and fun to talk to. He had a good spirit and was interactive with the whole group.
Giant Bavarian beers in large, wide open beer hall. What's not to like. Home made wurst and pretzels. A wonderful northwest spin on traditional German beer hall.
This place is great with their authentic German beer and food including a great selection of sausages. The brunch menu is just as good and if you want something stronger than beer the bar has something for ya.
Great place. Excellent beer selection, with good food. Pivo! :)
Just a hall of beer. And great pretzels. And great poutine. Great service. Table was big so we didn't need to clean it.
Great atmosphere, reminds us of the old European beer halls with long tables and benches. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got a giant pretzel with meats and cheeses as an appetizer, and it fed three of us. We would up not having room for entrees. Will definitely come back. Has an extensive better listing, too.
You can have a wide range of German beers there, hence called Beerhall. We tried many different small dishes during happy hour and everything we had was very tasty. Needless to say, the beer was wonderful. They also have a hot dog booth where you can order separately. Our server told us that the booth only takes cash so make sure you bring enough cash if you want beer with hot dogs.
Social distancing and all, great place. Plenty of beers on tap, sausages, pretzels, mustards. Really well done all around. Crispy sausages, crunchy yet fluffy fries, huuuge pretzels.
This is one of my favorite places in Queen Anne. The giant pretzel, chicken sandwich and even Goulash are all worth trying. You can take a walk along the waterfront to help digest after, which is great.
If you like German beers and a chill place to hang out and watch a game or socialize, this is the place. Good sausages and kraut...cool atmosphere.
I nice place to stop for a Sunday brunch, I think. I stopped in for a quick beer and enjoyed the big, open beer hall space with the communal tables. The place was not busy so it looked like a good place to bring a big group and still get a table. A nice selection of Belgian/German/other euporean beers and a few locals on rotation. Didn't order food but what I saw on others plates looked good.
I go there for geeks who drink trivia on Tuesdays. The food is decent if you're not vegetarian, there are some veggie options but not a lot, and they don't change the menu. It gets loud in there when busy, but the beer selection is really good. Overall a good deal.
Good beer selection, friendly staff, but quite pricey.
Probably the worst German beer hall I've ever been too. Maybe I'm spoiled from the one we have back home but this place was not good. Wasn't too busy and the service took forever. We ordered from the walk up grill thinking that would be the most authentic food. Our sausages tasted like cheap ones you get from Costco. Gave us a huge thing of fries and they had absolutely no salt or seasoning. That was shocking. And then they gave us sauerkraut which was just sitting in a container. Not even fresh. It tasted like plastic. It was so gross I couldn't eat it. I was not impressed at all. 25 bucks for two sausages!!! I seriously wish I could get my money back. I love food and I'm not a complainer and I'm generous with my reviews. So the fact that I'm leaving a one star says alot coming from me!
Vegetarian options were not very tasty. Beer selection good. I like the shared picnic style for group drinking.
Favorite bar in the area.Good selection of beers and food. Beer battered cheese curds is a must try. Great service, cool atmosphere. It reminded me of hofbrauhaus. Usually very crowded on weekends. One time we visited on a weekday and there was a good live band playing.
The beer is fantastic. If you like wheat beers, this is the best place ever. There are obviously great ales and IPA's. In fact they recommended me an IPA which was not even that hoppy which is quite rare. Now usually the food isn't great in such places. But here comes the twist. Food here is fabulous. The pretzel is great but so is everything else on the menu. I went one monday evening where food was on happy hour whole evening and surprisingly there was hardly any crowd.
This was not at all what we expected. I took my kiddos there so we could have a new food adventure in Seattle. Holy cow this place is amazing. The food is great. The atmosphere was not what was expected. The outside of the building does look sketchy but don't let that fool you. This is a place you should definitely visit. The staff was great. You can take kids but it's definitely not geared towards children.
Great place when you like Czech beer! You can taste here not only beer but also traditional grill cuisine not only from Czech but also from Poland. God bless Seattle for this place. :)
Beer was great; highly recommend the 2L boots. We also got fried cheese curds and they were pretty disappointing. Not a lot of cheese. Hopefully the rest of their food menu is better.
Pretty cool giant hall with lots of beer and drink options. This is a great place for a gathering of a bunch of people. From what I tried of the food I would say it's just mediocre. The grilled chicken sandwich seemed to be a fairly healthy option but the onions over powered and the chicken was dry. If you are coming here stick to drinks and appetizers. But the atmosphere is definitely unique.
Food was good but got cold so fast because it was very cold inside the restaurant. Had to wear a winter jacket and gloves while waiting at the table to stop the shivering. Regardless, the food is perfect for the environment and goes well with any of their many beers.
We loved this place. Excellent beer, awesome people, great food. Will definitely be back
Iam from Czech republic so if anyone missing home or good beer this is the place to go. Little piece of home in Seattle. Love this place!
Tasty German inspired fare. Reasonable prices. Big tables. Slovak/Czech inspired. Even has a great grapefruit flavored 2% beer your non-beer-drinking friends will like! Many great beers for the rest of you. The spaetzle and schnitzel are both great.
I had good time at this bar. The beer and the food were good. The only downside from the food section is that they don't accept cards. You have to pay for the beer and then the food. They view is good and when it's sunny you can have a view on the street and the lake
This place is amazing. The name tells you everything you need to know. The beer is great the food is great there is plenty of seating.
Nice little German themed tap room. Good selection and tons of open space. The food we had, mostly snack-ish fries and such, were good. The beer was cold, the wait staff knew what it was and could describe it, and the prices are reasonable for the area. I will definitely go again next time i find myself in the area.
Very cool spot, tons of beer on tap and the authentic German food is delicious. Beer size options are crazy, all the way up to a liter!!
Service is continually slow and hectic. They often seem short staffed. If you are wanting quicker service, I recommend sitting at the bar where they will serve you right away. That said, if you are fine to wait a bit, then you'll be fine! The food and beer are great. You need cash for the walk up bar (highly recommend the Smoked Danube Kielbasa). The outdoor area is great in the summer. Weekends after 8 are packed, so be ready for lots of people!
Had a great couple of beers. Really neat atmosphere. Feels like a great hall from the viking period. Had Jay as our server. He was knowledgeable and even helped us plan our weekend of beer tasting around Seattle. Highly recommend.
Fun spot!Friendly service.Delicious food - I had the Kase Krainer and it was darn good (4/5). Fries were yummy (4/5). Pretzel was bomb, as was spicy mustard (5/5).Cool venue and atmosphere.
Love this place. Always lively, fun games, and great food.
I liked the beef tartar. It’s a lot of meat, especially for one person. The garlic and chili in it both taste good (chili is easy to add or remove). Nice atmosphere. Alas, it had some dairy in it despite the chef saying it would probably not. It’d be nice if they had dairy free for people with dairy allergy
Friendly service. Great beer! Cheese curds, fries, and pretzel were fantastic!!
Great spot. Unique beer hall. Kraut was tremendous. Meats looked amazing but I went for very light instead. Probably a mistake... Solid German beer menu and great crowd esp for a Tuesday night.
Great selection of beer, including some unusual choices. You can get a small size ( 1/4 liter ) if you want to taste different beers and can't drink that much! Brunch food included bratwurst and eggs, and wienerschnitzel and eggs. Service was slow but that meant we just hung out longer. I think they were understaffed.
Great atmosphere, decent beer. This is a European style beer hall, don't expect a bunch of northwest beers. But they do have some. Big picnic tables full of your, soon to be friends, all enjoying beer. What's not to like?
This is one of those neighborhood spots that absolutely nails the combo of vibe, food quality, and beer list options. They do a great job of catering to the happy hour crowd coming from downtown or Expedia, but also make it a comfortable spot for families coming in with kids - not an easy balance. The menu isn't flawless, but their entrees are generous and well prepared. They knock pretzels out of the park (an obvious must), and their beer selection is killer. This is a great neighborhood joint worth your time!
